rivershack at Badger Brook sits above the old railroad trestle on the Newfoundland T’Railway.  Just a stones throw away is the meeting point of the Exploits River and two of its largest tributaries. The Exploits River

is the island’s largest, longest river, over 246 km to the source while in fact draining a watershed area of 10,000 sq km in Central Newfoundland.

Meanwhile also one of North America’s top Atlantic Salmon fishing rivers boasting annual run ranging between 20,000 to 40,000 salmon.
